A gentle introduction to Sophie & The Salon
Service Description
This mini appointment is ideal if you have a nervous dog and you feel like they would benefit from meeting me and exploring the salon before having any treatments. You are welcome to stay, where we can talk in a more in-depth basis about your dog, their history and their requirements, or you can leave us together to see how they adjust to being away from you and spending some 1-2-1 time with me. During the appointment, I will focus on allowing your dog to get acclimatised and desensitised to the environment, tools and handling will help them to enjoy appointments for the rest of their lives, instead of feeling fearful or anxious. I am a firm believer that dogs need time and patience to settle with their Stylist and form a valuable bond to help them enjoy their haircuts and other treatments. If they have a favourite, high-value treat, please do bring this along to help us to nurture positivity in the salon. Please note, Meet & Greet appointments do not include any other treatments - just pure comfort, calm and safe exploration.
Cancellation Policy
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled grooming appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule, so that I can offer the appointment to other clients with reasonable time to do so. In the case of rescheduling, any deposit paid will be transferred to the new appointment. If cancelling, the deposit will be refunded in full. This can only be honoured with 48 hours' of notice. If a request is made less than 48 hours before the appointment, or if the appointment is not attended, the deposit will be kept to cover overheads and what otherwise amounts to an irreplaceable loss of earnings.
