Service Description
Sadly, fleas happen! And they are becoming increasingly resistant to various preventative medications. I only use the natural solutions, free from chemicals, on your pup and in my salon. They contain camomile water to soothe, plus neem (pine tree leaf & fruit) oil, quassia bark extract, lemongrass, tea tree and lavender oils to repel. If you would like a natural repellent tonic to be added to your dog's groom, which lasts up to a week, choose Preventative Drops from the menu. If you are aware that your dog has fleas or other dermal parasites, or if I find them during the appointment, then the Soak, Spray & Drops option will be applied. This includes: - a 15-minute soak in natural specialist shampoo, to soothe itchy skin and neutralise the critters - a full spray-down of the salon, equipment, your dog and their accessories and myself, to prevent the spread and protect other clients - a natural spot-on tonic treatment, to provide further protection to your pup after they leave my care Please note: - all products are safe and natural (they can even be used around pregnant and breastfeeding mothers) but are less effective on elderly dogs or those with a compromised immune system - the repelling properties are most effective when being used regularly - a vet should be consulted for stubborn visitors and major infestations - fleas lay eggs prolifically in cycles, so even if I neutralise them on your dog, I recommend that you treat all dog bedding, home furnishings and your vehicle with your chosen repellent/neutraliser to help stop the reoccurrence
Cancellation Policy
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled grooming appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule, so that I can offer the appointment to other clients with reasonable time to do so. In the case of rescheduling, any deposit paid will be transferred to the new appointment. If cancelling, the deposit will be refunded in full. This can only be honoured with 48 hours' of notice. If a request is made less than 48 hours before the appointment, or if the appointment is not attended, the deposit will be kept to cover overheads and what otherwise amounts to an irreplaceable loss of earnings.
